SHIPPING POLICY

By placing an order with EkoVara ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following shipping terms and conditions.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

We offer the following shipping options for orders shipped within the United States:

  • Free Economy Shipping: Available exclusively on orders with a subtotal of $50.00 USD or more (before taxes and after discounts). Estimated delivery time is 5-10 business days from the ship date. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Carrier-Calculated Shipping: For orders with a subtotal below $50.00 USD, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the destination address, package weight, dimensions, and selected carrier service. Shipping rates are subject to change without notice and are determined by third-party carriers.

International Shipping

We ship to select international destinations. Shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout based on the destination country, package weight, dimensions, and selected carrier service. A 5% handling fee is applied to all international shipments to cover additional packaging materials, customs documentation, and processing requirements. Estimated delivery time for international shipments is 10-21 business days from the ship date, subject to customs clearance and local carrier processing times.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes: International customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, and any other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs and must be paid by the recipient. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or for packages refused due to unpaid customs fees. Refusal of a package due to customs fees does not entitle the customer to a refund of shipping costs or handling fees.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays) from the date of purchase. "Processing" means the time it takes to prepare your order for shipment, not the shipping time itself. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Shipment Confirmation and Tracking

Upon shipment, you will receive an email confirmation containing tracking information. It is your responsibility to monitor the tracking information and ensure someone is available to receive the package. We are not responsible for packages that are not received due to unavailability at the delivery address.

Shipping Address Accuracy

You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of purchase. We are not liable for orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address provided by you. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the order, including any applicable handling fees. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders that cannot be delivered due to address errors, minus any non-recoverable shipping costs and handling fees.

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from EkoVara are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once the carrier confirms delivery.

Delivery Issues and Limitations of Liability

Lost or Stolen Packages: Once a package is marked as "delivered" by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages. We strongly recommend tracking your shipment and requesting signature confirmation or delivery to a secure location if you have concerns about package security.

Damaged Packages: If your package arrives visibly damaged, you must notify us within 2 business days of the carrier's confirmed delivery date and provide photographic evidence of the damage to both the packaging and contents. Failure to report damage within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of any claims for damaged goods.

Delivery Delays: Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays in shipment or delivery caused by third-party carriers, weather conditions, natural disasters, customs processing, government actions, labor disputes, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not offer refunds or compensation for delayed deliveries.

Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, failure to pay customs fees, or failure to retrieve the package from the carrier, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs, handling fees, and any costs associated with reshipping the order. We reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund minus all shipping costs and handling fees incurred.

Order Modifications and Cancellations

Once an order is placed, it enters our fulfillment process immediately. If you wish to cancel or modify your order, you must contact us at [your email] within 1 hour of placing the order. We cannot guarantee that cancellations or modifications will be honored once the order has been processed or shipped. No cancellations or modifications will be accepted after the order has shipped.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in shipment or delivery resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government regulations, pandemics, carrier disruptions, or natural disasters.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims related to shipping, delivery, or non-delivery shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected items. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from shipping delays, lost packages, or delivery issues.
